Bio

Brett Eden is the Director for the Auxiliary Business Development Office at the University of Utah. He directs the Universities Licensing & Trademark program, Auxiliary Service wide marketing and communication efforts, and the Auxiliary Services Sponsorship program.

Brett is starting his eighth year with the University of Utah; he came from a local rival institution BYU where he was the Licensing Manager for about 6 years. While at Brett was instrumental in the development a BYU fan based program that received national press called Cougar Town. Prior to the jump into the collegiate licensing world Brett worked in the Athletic Marketing office at BYU for 3 years developing all the youth related grass roots marketing programs. Brett currently serves as the president of the International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA). Brett also served as either a board member or officer for the past 6 years. In 2012 Brett led the efforts at Utah that resulted in being awarded the national “Licensing Program of the Year” honors.

Brett also has served on the board of directors for the Foothill Cultural District (www.foothillcd.com) for the past 6 years and is the current Vice President of the organization.

Brett is an energetic individual with a passion for the collegiate licensed market and most importantly is the proud father of three very energetic children that keep his life full of joy and married to his long time sweetheart Lacey, who is a Nursing Professor at rival school BYU.
